Has any one have any ideas for a sensor that will turn on a snow melt roof application, The Tekmar 090 and 091 driveway snow melt sensor wont do the job..

    There are different manufacturers that make ones designed to mount on a pole, sort of a funnel type thing if I remember correctly, can't recall the brand though maybe someone else can? The tekmar should work in this situation, you would just have to build a box or something for it to sit in and mount it sticking out of the side of the house or on a pole. Ask tekmar they might have a suggestion or two.

    Environmental Technologies is the company that makes the "mast-mount" sensor. thsi sensor is compatible with Tekmar Controls if that is your inclination.
