in THE MAIN WALL
I am having a problem trying to seal a cpvc 3/4" mpt into a ball valve for a steam boiler feed.  Does anyone know of a good dope I can use ?

    I've used red high temp silicone in that application with good success.

    if you Don't want threads to leak

    Use lamp wick (quick wick ) and pipe dope .... Old school but it works ..
