Oh man,, long banks of CIBB on steam,,

Try to stop hammering,,,, sheesh!

Some banks are 26ft.(installed in 60`s),,, had to hammer from the get-go,,, std. 3/4" outlets using regular bushings to 1/2" Velan bi-metallic  traps(<a href="http://www.velan.com/velan/en/products/22/26/?product_id=73">http://www.velan.com/velan/en/products/22/26/?product_id=73</a>) the "adjustment" within the trap helped, but not much as the condensate went over & under,,,, what a chore!

No room,,, so I removed every "check-ball", drilled the casting straight-through, and used orifice plates on the top supply(I made) to govern the steam admittance,,, everything came-out OK,, but experimentation involved as some rads had "sagged" over the years.
