    Thanks for the prayers

They worked. I've been convalesing for 9 days now. They took out the staples this morning and I feel pretty good.  They took out a mass they thought was causing visual seisures right next to the visual center of the brain. Did not look malignant but sent it off to a lab. We find out for sure next week. Up until yesterday I felt like a teddy bear with no stuffing. Like a sailboat with no wind. Starting last night I am feeling my energy returning. There's no mistaking it. Soon I'll be running around helping out my customers again. Thanks for the prayers. WW

    Hey WW!

Good to hear you're gaining ground. Been sending a few your way.

That sounds very similar to something that the owner of the auto repair shop I use ran into. He suddenly started to have vision problems and even a couple seizure episodes. They found a mass in his brain in what sounds like the same location as yours. It proved to be non malignant in his case. The neurosurgeon told him a lot of times things like that can be traced back to a head injury from long ago. In the case of my friend here, he had been knocked out cold as a result of a four wheeler accident he was involved in. (the tree won) That had happened over 12 years before he began to have the symptoms. The doc told him that sometimes a small area that is damaged will just start to grow on its own and never be noticed unitl is becomes large enough to cause problems. In his case it was almost the size of a tangerine when they took it out. He has made a 100% recovery BTW.

    Thanks for the well wishing

The size of a tangerine eh? Yikes! That can't be good. I always operate under the assumption I have no extra brain matter to spare. Mine was caught way early and was only the size of a fingertip. The surgeon used a "DaVinci surgical Robot to increase surgical accuracy and reduce the possability of mistakes. 2 More things I support when someone is operating on my brain. (Oh no! Not my brain. That's my second favorite organ!. ) Living in the DC area is of great benefit because of the stellar hospitals that are on the cutting edge of medical technology. I had my choice of Hopkins, GW, U of MD, and Georgetown. I went with Georgetown. One of the best world wide.  Thanks again and have a great week end. WW
