I am installing buderus panel rads with the by pass isolation valves ,i am using uponor pex al pex and i an having a hard time finding the correct fitting to tie the pex al pex to the valve ,i believe it's a r20 thread exept the bore on the inside is a bit larger so the o ring does not set .any help would be great not many if anybody around here uses pex al pex at least the supply houses i go to they special order it when i need it and i am using the qs fittings thanks clammy

Pex fitting
Clammy,
More than likely, the threaded part of the fitting is for a larger size pex. I just had this same problem the other day. Upon closer inspection, the threaded nut/collar was labeled 1/2, while the nipple with o-ring was labelled 3/8. Apparently, the factory mispackaged the assembly, as it was in its original sealed bag. Result was same thing, the nut would not compress the ferrule.

Pex nuts for WPR
You need the Euro cone pex nuts, which have deeper threads than the standard QS20. Your radiator dealer should stock them. If not, try Thermal Products in Seattle or Blueline Supply in Jackson Hole, Wy.0 -

Personal preference
transition to copper before going through floor and connect to rad with coper.
Why? It keeps the teenager on the other end of a vacuum cleaner in check....
PAP dings up fairly easily with a vacuum cleaner

Clammy I know who may have them
Paul Ross up at Hydronic Alternatives may have what you are looking for. Check out his web site [url=http://www.hydronicalternatives.com]www.hydronicalternatives.com in the radiator accessories section. I know that he has a type of QS ftg as I get them from him when I get his integral panel rads. He also has towel warmers so he maybe able to help you their also. His line comes from across the pond so I am sure he;ll have what you need. Give them a call and let him know I gave you his name...

oventroup multi flex
Thanks Chris i'll give them a try .It's pretty hard trying to get sales and counter guys to understand what i want and need they say why can't you be normal why do you need all this european stuff that so new ,i state it's not new only new to this country but on the other hand there the first ones to sell you a mod con and not know much about them .It's sad i figure in another 20 years maybe the european way of using low temp, panel rads ,TRV and design a full system ultizing low temp to take advantage of what mod con are capable of will truely take a while ,as for all the mod con that are running hi temp well i believe that they will be doomed to early failure due to the fact that where they are being installed they probalby don't see temps above 164 ,thanks again chris soory for the rant peae and good luck clammy now off to workR.A. Buderus pex compression fitting
Hello, are you saying that the Uponor (Wirsbo) D4120500 can substitute for the Buderus 1016874? I need to use these compression fittings for a 1/2 Pex application going into a Buderus Diverter valve.0
