Buderus Igniter

The attached picture is of an Ignitor from a Buderus GB142-24 boiler. The Buderus part number is 7099006. The label on the wires is Norton Model 601 and was replaced by Buderus with a Norton 601SS. It operates at 120 volts, has a removable perforated heat shield that terminates as a male grounding terminal. With the heat shield removed, overall length is about 2 15/32 inches, diameter of the round ceramic base is about 7/8 of an inch. We'd like to have a spare, but hate to order another from Germany for $125.00 as they are made by Norton in the USA! Any suggestions where to source one? Fred Clarke, Lakewood, Colorado. <img />

Find out if your local heating supply
house has Robertshaw controls, those igniters are distributed by Robertshaw. Try FW Webb, Johstone Supply, RE Michel etc.0
