Loosing water Pressure

I am loosing water pressure in my heating system. I have no leaks and the expansion tank seems Ok as it is not waterlogged. How can I check for sure if the tank is working?

If there is no visible water leaking, you could have and internal leak that is sending water up the chimney. Can you see all the lines? Nothing running through inaccessable crawl spaces? Unwaterlogged doesn't mean not leaking just not full of water.

    sorry, my friend...

but if you are losing pressure, you have a leak. Somewhere, somehow. Two choices: the expansion tank itself is leaking air, which is unlikely and would lead to a waterlogged tank eventually, or you are losing water. Seek and ye shall find...
