Hello wallies! I was curious if anyone can give me a brief synopsis of what would be required for a new boiler room installation inside of an old church according to the NFPA codes and regulations? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Devo

Usually
your best resource -- and safest! -- will be your local fire marshall and building inspector; they will have the last say on it anyway, and many aspects of such a thing are judgement calls...Br. Jamie, osb

New Boiler
In Pennsylvania we are required to get state inspect on new installs in a place of assembly . They have a list of requirements.0 -

You will also have
to conform to ANSI Z83.3 For Large Boilers in commercial establishemnts.
If the boiler is covered by a fire underwriter you will have to conform to their standards also.0
