M1 Miller

I went on a call tonight for a Miller M1 furnace, it turns out that the vent on the roof was covered with snow. But after I got the furnace operating, I looked in the view port and noticed a round shaped impingment area on the back of the hx. Does anyone know how to actually test the M1 heat exchanger ? My fear is the only way is to pull the furnace and tear down the furnace.

You will see impingment area on every Miller M1. There is no need to tear the furnace down.0 -
the fresh air in take was cover with snow.the burner couldn't pull in air for combustion & snuff its self out.the back of the m-1 chamber bumps out a bit.it what holds the chamber in place.need to pulled burner & chamber to inspect hx.be sure to have replacement gaskets available0
