Does anybody have a schematic of a radiant zone taken off of a steam boiler. I don't want to use a heat exchanger or tank. Will that be a problem? Also with a taco I valve be a good choice for this application.

    caution...

using condensate on a radiant sysem w/o a HX will kill a lot of your components. steam condensate is very dirty and will muck up your mix valves and circ. in short order.kpc

Shawn use a heat exchanger or tank or a tankless heater on the boiler if it is availible and NOT being utilized for domestic hot water. The water temp can be high enough if things mess up to damage the Pex tubing. The heat exchange device of your choice will seem cheap compared to ripping out a system and highering someone else to do it correctly.
Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.

I currently use a steam boiler WITH A TANKLESS COIL to feed my radiant on the entire first floor of my house. It has worked for the past six years flawlessly.

I would be curious to know how you would just the boiler water itself without some type of HX. I would venture a guess that if you were not using a HX, you are probably going to try to heat the basement, below the existing water line of the steam boiler!!!!! Still having trouble figuring that one out!!!!!
