Gentlemen...Modulation is now here for steam....

Powerflame introduced thier X4M burner a couple of years ago that modulated 3 to 1....133mbh to 400mbh in the small size and 90 mbh to 700 mbh in the large size. Now they have a High turn down version with 11.4 to 1 turndown, or 35mbh to 400 mbh. My first one is going in tommorrow. There are not too many Modcon hot water boielrs that can match that. Only the older modulating Raypaks came close....about 8 to 1 or so.

do you know of any modulating controller that can modulate below 1 psi? Honeywell dropped all of thiers in the Ounces range. E Mail me if you know of anything. I am getting the burner set up for 4 to 20 MA modulation input signal.

One of our big jobs

has a Honeywell modulator that can maintain 1 PSI. Next time I'm there I'll get the model number.

Very Cheap

Hello it is 2008 not 1860. This site does not deserve a cheap shot like that! I have been color bind for over 50 years and I look at the character of the man not the color of his skin.
