basement heat job
I need to put heat into the basement of an old victorian home in watertown, mass. The boiler is oil-fired water serving radiators throughout house. Basement needs heat in two separate rooms adjacent to mechanical room. what is the best/ most economical way to heat? There is one 3" supply main off the boiler, with an 1 1/4" return line in the back hartford loop style. Is the best bet to put a 3x1 tee right off the supply with a pump and flowcheck to two different radiators or should I go with baseboard? The emphasis from customer is low cost. Thanks for all input!0
