Health insurance

My boss has complained about how much more expensive insurance gets plus we spend 3-4,000 a year with a growing family of 5 kids. This spring we changed to a personal Health Ins. with Humana monthly premiums are much lower. Specifically 5,000$ deductable and set up an HSA account plus my boss set up a HRA (Health Reimbursment Account) Through this we get reimbursed for the monthly premiums plus another 2500 a year, this is applied to anything that qualifies. So far we like it & no money out of my pocket yet and boss is saving money as well.

What are small business owners doing to provide their employees with health insurance and then are they giving those employees the opportunity to pay for health insurance for their families?
I currently am struggling with this stuff. We have a great plan. It's not cheap. We cover the employee and they pay for the dependants. Everyone is griping. They all want it for free. They all want lower costs but don't want to reduce coverage. One fella had a new child and doesn't think he should have to pay more weekly for it.
    Help.

The only way we can afford our own, let alone employees is to belong to a larger group. Groups like PHCC and oil heat associations have large group plans. Will cost you a membership fee, but that is usually paid back in a hurry with reduced rates.

    insurance

we pay 100% it is tuff as I have to compete against guys that have no nsurance or company retirement plan or anything!!!!! In a vane attempt to keep their prices lower. My solution pass a law just like car, liability, buisness insurance that says every company must provide insurance. This will lower the cost as more people will be in the pool and force the competition to raise it's rates. Not goverment insurance still free market but a leveled playing field. cost us $865 for familly plan per month.
