    ...I am so, so very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Please know that you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I lost my dad eight years ago, and I still miss him every day. Nothing will ever replace having him with you, but time will ease the pain, my friend.

    I will pray for the Lord to grant you peace and comfort in this time of sorrow. Please let us know if there is anything you need!!!!!

    I lost my dad last December. Definitely a tough time. But the memories are great. I think about him all the time, with a smile on my face.

    I have been away with my family and just saw this post. My thoughts are with you and your family. If I was closer I would personnaly show my respect.

    As you know I lost my Dad over 25 years ago and yet it seems like yesterday. So strong is the bond between a father and son. I know your memorys will be just as strong.

    Your boys are who they are thanks to your Dad who taught you.

    John Copeland Yates gently passed away at home on 8/28/08 at 8:00 AM. His wife, Jean, was by his side while holding his hand and Dad's last words were "I love you". In recent weeks, Dad was surrounded by his family and we all had the opportunity to tell him how much he was loved.
    John is survived by his wife Jean (nee Gorman). Three sons and daughters-in-law: John & Elaine; Phil & Natalie; and Dave & Lois. Grandchildren and spouses: Deb & Rob Moyer; Suzanne; Christine & fianc
    Retired and loving it.
