... lots of good thoughts headed your way; and you're not alone. When you can, look up and let Spring give you something to smile about. It's one step at a time.

    Ed-

Hearing that is so heart-breaking - mine goes out to you. It is good that you shared this, perhaps, as has been said, that grief shared is grief divided.

I am sure Sylvia's memory will live on through you in some way. Still, I am glad that your family and her family were there, pulling together for Sylvia, you and themselves.

My sincerest wishes for healing and comfort to all of you.

Thanks again for all your support. I have read every post several times.

It seems everyone knows someone affected by cancer. Hopefully a cure will be coming soon.

I went yesterday to pick out the cemetary plot. Really nice beautiful spot. Made me feel a lot better as did all your posts.

Thkans again and a happy Easter to all.

    An Inspiration

Your journey with your wife is an inspiration to many. I do not think it was a coincidence that it happened in this Holy Week. May you have a blessed Easter.

    to die at home

my father died at home, I took care of him his last week, 24 hours a day, he died shortly after I gave him his last morphine dose, 3:25am.

feel proud about honoring this very very important request.

when i was young my grandfather begged to go home from the hospital, that was before hospice.
