with the right voltage for the system will work. I like the various Honeywell programmables -- there are both consumer and installer models.
Just remember to program it for steam -- one cycle per hour.

What is a good thermostat for a Steam Boiler Heating System?
I just put in a new Weil-Mclain steam gas fired boiler. I have an minivector thermostat. It has a low setting and a high setting. I think this thermostat is dying because when the temperature in the room 60 degrees and the min is at 65, the boiler does not kick on. The pressure safety switch on the boiler is not engaged (i checked). If I raise the mininum temp setting higher, the boiler will fire.
Can anybody offer a suggested replacement?
