Threw many in the trash over the years...they would ususally split in two. do you have one that a woodworker could use as a pattern to make some replacements for? White Ash or walnut would work well.

Detroit Radiator Handles
Does anyone know where I can find some Detroit Radiator handles. The ones that are on are wooden with the metal plate beneath them with an "extension" downward that goes against two stops on the valve. They are 1/2 turn valves that you turn counter-clockwise until you hit the "stop" to open and to close you turn clockwise until you hit the opposite "stop". The valves I can make work, however the handles are either rotten or the metal plates beneath have rusted off over "many" years of slowly leaking packing nuts.
Thanks for your help.
