    It's on NOVA

I saw it. I was glued to the TV.

Now if I can just figure out how to use it (Bose-Einstein condensate) in a glass of scotch.

Check your local listings for NOVA. They have been repeating it.

    ME's not the Pope

but hydronically speaking he's probably as close to "infallible" as we'll get. And his response here once again shows he always gives articulate reasons for his opinions. He even shares his mistakes- like de-kinking pex with a torch late Friday afternon.
I could disagree with him, but I'd better have a well thought out reason why.
Debate is good, but feelings carry no weight. Facts do.

    G-Fos Magna's

Has anyone used a Grundfos Magna circulators yet? They seem to be similar to the Wilo Stratos with proportional and constant curves.I haven't had an opportunity to be trained on the Magna's yet, but I was curious on how they stacked up.

Dan, for you i will go out and recruit for attendance :*~/:)

Just about everyone involved in the heating industry here have read your articles over the years and own or have read your books...

there are suppliers, wholesale distributors ,engineers . techs ,contractors, control electricians ... only thing is is that we are modifying our environment continuously during the winter and summer and a lot of human beings are inextricable from what they are doing...:) when someone could freeze to death within 30 paces of their vehicle you have to understand that to remove them from the community for any length of time is almost criminal :) Our community is somewhat different from most big cities in that people still need people here.:) really if you had a chance to be on T.V here you would have a huge audience..everyone is into being warm . Trust me . Heat is Good . I like Heat :) i may be wrong on this buh everyone else i see around me tends to like it too ... :)

So basically what i am saying is You and John are certainly going the extra mile to meet human beings half way to help them ,i can do no less.

My Dads is having some difficulties .i have fully intended to burn some daylight with him soon....He is in Anchorage, just out of the trauma center where they pulled the I.V.'s and told my sister that he had 2% chance to pull out of it... that's why i recommended reading the 36 Hr.Day...many people have mothers and fathers struggling along ....i dont't leave some things be so i called and told them that i was a dr. turned lawyer...:) ok i fibbed so what ? :)

well, you are probably thinking what the heck did he say? :)) Dan, the last time i saw my Dad he was staying at an assisted living place with an old Eskimo guy and a WWII vet so i asked poppazzano to play some cards, everyone came over to the table ..i like to include everyone in whatever is going on so i asked the old Eskimo guy " Have you ever heard of , or played the Eskimo game of Penny Pack?"

he said no...so i told them " It's a bit like Gin or Rummy, except that you don't need a Full Deck to play!".

everyone chuckled ,....the smiles came to their eyes,... it was great. *~/:)

so i have ulterior motives in being there also. i Trust that it is a clear answer and thank you for the invitation.

    Dads

Enjoy the time you have with your Dad. I know where you're at as I lost mine 2 weeks ago.

    Hug your Dad!

    Sorry, Paul.

Mine decided to have a heart attack on my birthday, 11 years ago. It was an inside joke between us. He died three days later and I still miss him. Sorry for your loss.

  • You're welcome Kevin...

and thanks for recognizing that although I work with water, that I can't walk on it...

Not sure what I did to offend Dave, but am sorry for whatever it was I did. Guess I won't answer any of his questions anymore to avoid conflicts.

As for additional information on ECM circs, I wrote 2 series of articles on this suybject. One on the residential line, and one for the commercial retrofit line.

These articles should be avaialble on the Contractor Magazine web site. www.contractormag.com

Google -eatherton variable speed- and you can find my most recent contributions.

Contractors used to have all the contributors articles in an archives, but they have changed the face of things.

Thanks for reading and contributing to this community.
