    Thank You

I just wanted to say thank you for all the positive responses. It means alot that there are so many people here on the WALL who appreciate the sacrifice made by all the servicemen and women.
I appreciate all the Hero talk but I am just a man who wants to play my role in helping keep our country safe for all of us. I have been in many parts of the world and know that our country is the best one going.
The Wall can get into some heated discussions sometimes but overwhelmingly in the end shows alot of compassion for our fellow man.
As it turns out myself and Joe will be in the very same unit together. Now how cool is that? The Wall has allowed me the priviledge of meeting some very great people and making lifelong friends.
I will definetly let everyone here how things are going over there. If anyone in my unit needs anything I will certainly let you all know here.

    God bless you all,
    Darin

P.S. There will be a welcome home party when we get off the freedom bird. I will let everyone know. We can have a Freedom Wetstock!!!!!

    One more thing

Darin, the World is a better place with you in it.

Please post the board you guys did at Ingerson's so people won't forget your impact on the industry... (Mark, do you have it?)

***If you or any of your fellow soldiers need anything, let me know and I'll start shipping!***

With a heavy heart and much admiration...

    Going over there.............

    Darin,
I recognize the pictures from the trip to Buderus. I was the newly appointed rep at the time and had the pleasure to meet you while we were there. You will be performing an unselfish duty of the highest regard that we would all like to thank you for in advance. Please know that you will be in all of our thoughts and prayers. As a veteran of the U.S. Navy spending a lot of time away from friends and family, I can tell you that keeping in touch with home meant a lot. Please keep my email address, feel free to write and I will try to help the others keep you up to date in our world so you can fall right back into place when you get back home. Keep your eyes open, your weapon clean and know that you are doing the right thing.
Take care and I'll be in touch through Mark Hunt.

    Than You All....

For the kind words and prayers. It is an honor to be honored on the Wall. Can't wait to meet Darin. It will be nice to have a wet head to chat with.

When I was in Iraq last time I went into a central heating plant that had been blown up. There stood three blown out Viessmann boilers. I had to wait three months to tell someone. The buildings all had panel radiators w/TRV's. We have colder and longer winters and still can’t get customers to spring for the good stuff. It is sad that the US will probably rip them all out and install new scorched air systems.

If I see any neat stuff I will try to get a picture and post when I return.

    Joe

  • Darin,

Keep your head down. Come back in one piece and know that there are many-many people who will be preying for you. God speed & beware of the English;-)

As i read all of the comments that all of you made to my dad about him leaving it only makes me realize more and more wut kind of dad i have and truthfully i already knew that he was the best. and listening to all of you talk about the band of brothers, i think that he was a very lucky guy to have everyone on here as a friend and i know mark and my dad are best friends and i quote from mark " he is my best friend and if i did not mention it already he is my best friend" and i know that my dad looks at mark the same way and after the way that i was feeling the few days before he left and then considering i felt even worse when he got on that c130 and actually flew away i was relieved to come home and look at all these messages that were posted and it put a smile on my face almost instintly. and i would just like to thank everyone once again for all the wonderfull things that they said.
