the tub's not vented properly and no primer appears to have been used either. I don't know Mark, but it's kinda hard to tell if the installer is a drunk from where I sit. Nice slam on your part though.

Perhaps the installer misunderstood the objective and thought he was supposed to build one of those fun house rooms that make it look like you are walking at a funny angle to the floor. And use that pile of plumbing stuff over there.
Or perhaps a house of horror for heating people.

As the economy starts to get worse, we'll be seeing more of this kind of pitiful workmanship as homeowners will be searching for even greater bargains.
As far as the copper in steam systems ... I see it all the time... and I'm embarrassed as an HVAC guy, to say that Dave is right.
