does so much for so many people. Today, many of us enjoyed his second Oilstock gathering in Hamburg, PA, and his fine hospitality. Alan does so much to bring people together, and he really never asks for anything in return. Some of us talked today about how we could do something to say Thanks to Alan for all that he's done. Next March, a group of NAOHSM people will be going to ISH in Frankfurt, Germany. The trip costs about $3,000, and I know that this is a trip that Alan would really enjoy. He's starting a new job soon, and I figure the last thing he needs right now is another bill, so I'd like to raise some money to send Alan to ISH.

If he's helped you over the years, and if you visit and enjoy his Oil Tech Talk site, I'd like you to donate $10 (or more if you'd like) to help make this trip possible. It's just a few bucks, but the appreciation for this fine man that goes along with your donattion will, I know, make his day.

Please forgive me for making this so brief. I just drove to my old house here in PA to gather some more belongings to take back to NY with me tomorrow early in the AM.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart, for the contributions being made to the auctions being ran, all in an effort to make this trip possible for your friend in the industry.

You have my word I’ll never forget. And I’ll continue to do what ever I can to contribute to our industry or even our brothers and sisters in times of need.

I apologize for not responding sooner however I have not had internet access provided as of yet in my apartment. The good news is, the guys ran a line to my desk last week at my office in Kingston, NY. So before long I should have access from the office.
