    I got to thinking ..

    Our host endures alot.

Dan puts up with our rantings and ravings.

Our public discussion that occasionally get out of hand.

Our hissy fits when things change.

    He's a gracious host.

Its seems we may forget to say thanks for such a wonderfull site. One that has made such amazing changes to our business's and personnal lives. I know it has for me.

How about we have a love fest ?

Pro's and HO's. Lets here it.

How about the longest thread of how Great things are!!!
    How much help you've gotten.

THANK YOU DAN ...For All you have done.

    He has taught me

as much about people as he has about Hydronics. I am truly greatful. Tell me how much farther hydronics has advanced because of Dan, his books, and The Wall. They don't make "gauges" that big anymore I am guessing.

    Sincere Regards,

    PR

    Big Hugs

    Yes, Scott.

Dan is indeed one of greats. He has father-like way of caring and leaves a lasting impression on all those he meets.

For those of you who have never had the opportunity to meet Dan in person, I urge you to make every attempt to do so. I am personally very fortunate to live only a few minutes from Mr. Holohan and enjoy the opportunity to chat on the phone, visit with him (and the lovely Maryanne) at their home and break bread with him at Bennigan's (great potato soup).

Dan is always doing something to help those in the industry learn and for that, as well as his numerous acts of charity, we all owe him a debt of gratitude.

Dan, thanks for all YOU do!

    Between the books

and the classes, he has singlehandedly promoted the finest form of comfort heating known to man.

The Wall is simply the icing on the cake.

The Dead Men sleep well, knowing their lives, dreams and labors were kept alive by the hands of those who care. The one who cared the most?

    Mr. Holohan

    I've had the pleasure

of meeting Dan in person at 2 of his seminars and at Wetstock as well (No Wetheads left behind!). Although I'm not technically "in the field" as a contractor, he has taught me well above and beyond the basics and not so basics of hydronics and steam. The Wall is a shining example of what can be accomplished when a good man sets his mind to it. He is a benefit to the industry and charity alike. It's amazing how this place brings out the best in people. Between the exchange of product & system information to the raising of charity for those who need it, I am personally grateful and proud to be a small part of it. I'll raise my Guinness (this evening) and toast the host who has made it all possible. My thanks to you Dan!

    It's all HIS fault

That I'm in the fix I'm in!

If it wasn't for Dan, I never would have met the Great, near Great, and the wanna-be (and probably will be) Great.

I never would have discovered what a truly wonderful form of heat the dead men did.

I'd be just another run-of-the-mill HVAC contractor here on the outskirts of Atlanta, GA.

Thanks Dan, for what YOU do for us.

    And hug your kids.

    Nice thread Scott

I've enjoyed Dan's company on several occasions, taking in the knowledge that he generously gives out. Dan is a fine author, orator, and family man (not in that order). No wonder I like the guy so much.

    The Wall

is an invaluable resource for finding out what's going on in the rest of the country. It's easy to get isolated in what you do....maybe what people in your city, township or county do. The Wall helps expand the heating world without having to travel the country and beyond. I'm very happy to give Dan credit for what he has created.

    Thanks Dan

    From the first

time I met him, I knew I was meeting a special person. He cares about the industry and he cares even more for those that need our help. His ideas have made all of us better in what we do. That is one terrific contribution in this day and age. I will join in the three cheers group and add my voice to those who appreciate what Dan has done with his good works both big and small. Some people talk and some do. Dan is the latter group.

    gratitude

Boy did this bring back memories. I am looking at my "Pumping Away" book, first printing 1994......and remember a man who sent me the book, the same day I sent him the check. He said "May the two cross in the mail." Dan ACTUALLY sent me the book BEFORE he got the money. (We were doing our first pumping away job that weekend and we wanted it fast, and Dan obliged from his "heart"!!!)
There is ALOT to be thankful for from Dan and I am pleased this thread was started. Hats off Dan, family, friends etc. More thanks than I have the literacy.
