possibilities
Have a couple of restaurants locally that have good food and bar and separate areas to hold meeting etc. Also Hampton Inns and Suites and Greenfield Inn that have meeting rooms but do not have on site restaurants. one restaurant is in Greenfield is Bill's www.billsrestaurant.com which is where we had Jerry's "Trip Down Memory Lane" in November and the other is Stillwater in Charlemont, about 3 miles from me.0 -
web site for stillwaters

I've been checking out the area
I would prefer to stay at a local hotel (within a 15-20 mile radius) the night before and have a roundtable either in the hotel restaurant or a nearby place. I just want to find out if others would be willing to meet under those conditions. All of the silent majority can jump in at any time!0 -
all places mentioned
are local. 2 hotels are 10 miles from me and Greenfield has several restaurants. Stillwaters is 13 miles from Greenfield. Let me know if you need other info. www.shelburnefalls.com will give you other ideas. also Franklin County Chamber of Commerce. ... Ruthe0 -
I can meet
I'd prefer not going to Boston though, unless you're popping for a Sox game that is!
Would your publication be interested in one of the "small guys" taking a leap of faith? By July I should be in my new 8000 sq ft building.
Count me in if it's W Mass.

Am I \"Ugly\" Enough?
Hey Ruth
You don't know me personally, but I have been on the Wall for a couple of years now . It would be great to put faces to names of people I admire. Dan has met me a few times and I know Alan. Ya think I'm Ugly enough to attend? If so I'd be more than happy to contribute to whatever fund,to offset the cost of hosting such an incredable bunch of guys.
Al (pinball) Bruno0 -
you will be quite welcome
love to meet you. The $15.00 charge per person will help defray the cost of the food and beer. If y ou want hard liquor it is BYOB. I will have a donation basket for the benefit of Hospice of Franklin County who helped me care for Jerry in his last few weeks. I hope to be able to do something to help out Dave Sutton and daughter Amanda even if it is only our love and prayers since they are a part of the big ugly Western Mass contingent. If any one wants to bring snacks, appetizers or desert feel free but it is not necessary. Also please bring a good appetite because we do not plan to run out of food. ... Ruthe0 -
Count me in for two!
Thanks

Big bash
Regretfully I will have to miss this, my father in law is coming in on that day I just found out. It is my loss. Thanks for the offer of your hospitality. Tim Smith0 -
I can't take it anymore!!!
Sorry, I just had to move this thread back to the other side of the page. I need to read horizontally, not vertically.
Looking forward to the bash.0 -
Thank you
I would have done it if I could figure out how!!

Ruthe
Unfortunately, Lynn and I will be unable to attend as we will be in Binghamton, NY the 14th and 15th for the Christening of our twin Granddaughter and Grandson. May we make a donation in Jerry's honor to the Hospice and if so could you provide the address? I dearly enjoyed the few occasions I got to spend with you and Jerry and miss him! They just don't make too many people like him anymore!
