    And People Pay

    They make that much money because fans continue to pay high prices to go to games, and buy special Sports Packages for their tv. Don't get mad about the salaries and then pay for it.

    I dish out big bucks for NASCAR every year, so I don't complain about how much money a driver makes.....I'm contributing, and it's worth it to me.

    Quit cryin' in yer Sam Adams, Chowda. The Sox didn't want him and we needed him. Who's to say how much is too much? Sirius is paying Stern 50 million to go there and I'm pretty sure he can't hit or run. Too much?

    The Orioles just sent me my \"preferred customer\" flier

    and right on the front it reminds me, a transpalanted Yankee fan, that the Yankees and Red Sox games sell out quickly. There isn't an Inner Harbor merchant who does not schedule extra help for when these two teams come to town. I have never seen the Sox and the O's, but I can tell you that Camden Yards is awash with blue on game day against the Yankees. I'll be raising my glass for Johnny.
