Vitodens 200 vs. Buderus GB 142

I'm in agreement with this
I suppose that I'm not an average homeowner either. I understand what contractors have to pay in overhead - Heck, I spend 1/3 to 1/2 millon a year as part of my job hiring field service contractors. I also used to work as one of them.
My heating guy asked me what I though a truck and two person crew was charged out at - and I said probably about $3000 per day. He then told me it was $2500 per day. Didn't bother me. But his secrecy on his other cost did.

foam insulation
you said:
"My house is 1,600 sf framed with 2x6's at 2' o.c. and will be insulated with spray foam..."
You won't need a boiler. Your computer and alarm clock will heat the place.
Seriously though, although this slides away from the topic somewhat, I always remind my customers that 100% of your heat goes outside. We just want as much as is practical to go through the living space on its way out.
The quality of the boiler favored here would be more important than a few points in efficiency one way or another.
I'm intrigued by M.E.'s note that the vitodens 100 will soon be available. For 1,600 s.f. I'd hold out for its arrival.
