Register in Find a Professional, please

I often read a variation on 'find a professional' in the various threads -- and indeed, this is very good advice (I'm not one -- for those of you who don't know me, I'm a building superintendent, which means I know very little about a whole lot of stuff, all of which I have to fix, usually at 3 AM).

However, my good friends: in many many parts of the country, there is no one registered within miles... sometimes hundreds of miles... (I just tried to find a good radiant guy for a friend in Olympia, Washington -- had to go almost to Seattle to find one).

I'm not sure, when you casually say that, if you quite realise just how hard it is to find a competent pro!

So, guys and gals, if you are in the heating business, and regard yourself as pretty darn good (which you probably are, if you are reading this), do us all a favour and be sure you are registered so folks can find you when you tell them to find a pro!
