boiler room check list

I would like advise on creating a boiler check list(hot water systems) for the boiler rooms for a client of mine who owns many apartment buidings (5-50 units each) the on site supers need direction on determining problems and calling when a problem exists.The delima is - a little knowledge can be dangerous - I want them to understand the operation and resolve minor problems but not get get in over their heads.My check lists are to detailed or not detailed enough. So basic operation and safety.A once a week check list.If anyone can share there check list or can suggest a list I would appreciate it.This is a tough assignment for me I have recently working on these projects and what I am seeing is amazing from detached smoke to relief valves piped with ten elbows and 25' of drain piping to the cold New England air(ice formation in relief valve drain) and this work done by preveous contractors not the supers.Thanks

And that is a problem!

Little knowledge is dangerous. It takes a lifetime of being in the business to get enough knowledge. It'll take a few days to get it all down for the supers. AND then you'll only have a portion of what you should have placed. Careful here! If you leave just one small thing out that is or could be a concern, you'll live to regret it! Guranteed!!
