Here is a revised schematic of the proposed repiping of my copper tube boiler. The plumber wants to remove the air vents at the ends of the supply and return manifolds and bridge the manifolds together. Does that make sense?
Also, is the placement of the capped tees for a possible future buffer tank (to decrease shortcycling) seem OK? The shutoff in between would be closed when/if the buffer tank is installed.
