Macon OPSK
is what I specify. Danfoss is another as is Amaark (if I spelled that correctly), although I have never actually seen one. (We specify a lot of public work so need to list three names.)
The key feature to any of these is an integral vacuum breaker. Because these valves work by thermostatically isolating the air vent, something must intervene to break the vacuum when the valve is satisfied and closed.
The Macon is my personal favorite- smaller, a bit more elegant to my eye and small thermostatic heads in a variety of configurations. Availability you can find through Tunstall Associates in Chicopee.0 -
Is the Macon OPSK One pipe steam valve assembly with VB-18 vacuum assembly what I need?0 -
