We are working on a residential vacuum system with Webster Sylphon traps. We are in need of a replacement trap - the nipple has corroded and is leaking and we need a replacement for it. Can anyone help us. Also need to know what controls belong on the system and what operating pressures to set the system too. system is an old American Radiator with a Gordon fitted gas burner. Please help - call Adam @ 845-742-1906 or the office at 845-692-4858 x205.
Thanks, Jeremy

Unless it has a mechanical vacuum pump
it's a Vapor system. In this case a standard radiator trap like a Hoffman 17C or Barnes & Jones 122 should work fine. If there's a vacuum check on the air trap near the boiler, it should be removed. Vapor systems that could go into naturally-induced vacuum worked great on coal, but not very well on oil or gas.0
