    Event Information

Event Title: Dead Men Steam Night School

    Event Date: 11/09/05

    Event Time: 5 PM

    End Event Time: 8:30 PM

Location: Ricardo's by the Bridge - 21-01 24th Ave., Astoria, NY

This is a benefit Night School for the Oil Heat Cares Foundation. All the money will go to that charity (thanks to our sponsors!)

We start with a delicious buffet supper, as only Ricardo's can prepare. Then, from 5:30 until 8:30 I'll tell you tales of the Dead Men and explain how they installed those wonderful old steam heating system, what goes wrong with them, and how you can shine like a champ by making them quiet again, and much more efficient. This Night School is packed full of information that you can put to work for yourself the next morning.

Class size is limited to 50 Wetheads. Most of the tickets are already gone. Ya snooze, ya lose.

Your donation is $109 per person and 100% of that goes to the charity, which helps needy people on a grassroots level.

Thanks for helping us help others.

    just curious Dan...

I thought the training materials for this class used to be available in "Books & More"?

    We had a video

on the Dead Men's Steam School, which was different from this class. The work Gerry and Steve did on venting capacity made some of the information in the Dead Men Steam School out of date, so we discontinued the program.

Is there another way to obtain some of the useful technical information that was included in that video, other than attending a seminar?

I would take a ticket but I'm in the beautiful city of Detroit.
