I was looking through the old family photo albums. Found a section my Dad took in 1972 of home valuables for insurance purposes. Cut glass, sterling silver, painted plates, jewelry, the boiler. Yea, really! Guess he figured if someone stole it or the water heater, he'd have proof to show the insurance company. After all, being warm is as important as the figurines on the mantel!
