Looking for a basic troubleshoot /set-up reference book any suggestions?

I am looking at "Residential oil burners"(Weinberger) but the one review I could find was negative(Amazon)Anybody here use it?

I am unfamiliar ...

with the book or author. Having said that, I may have had it in my oil-burner bookshelf and just don't recall who wrote what.

The little Sid Harvey oil burner technicians handbook(s) were extremely helpful. Lots of generalizations about all burners; then, details on all the odd-ball stuff.

I'm sure the archives here have a great deal of info and best of all - it's free for the taking.

burner refrences

you really can't go wrong with the manufacture's literature, although some are definitely better. Beckett, Carlin and Riello all have good oem guides.
