Vent maybe too small...
You should use the same type ,good adjustable vent to help balance.
I would recommend a good float type radiator vent like a Hoffman

Air Vent Constitenly Hissing
Hello
I recenly installed a new air vent on a single-pipe radidator. Today I noticed it is hissing for a long period of time. Is this normal? What is it doing? I feel air coming of out the vent, but none of my other radiators are doing this.
Thanks,
Ralph0 -
the vent i had was circular, the new one is oblong. i think maybe my other vents on the other radiators are shot as well and they may need to be replaced as well from what I was reading on the internet.0
