Need some advice here...
I have an outside tank feeding a furnace located in a basement.
Top feed to furnace... approximately 12' above pump.
What can I use to keep the tank from syphoning, an OSV can't be used because it's over 3' above the pump?
Any ideas?0 -
tiger loop
If this is a one pipe sysytem use a tiger loop and convert your burner pump to a 2 pipe system and if you want install a osv on the supply line feeding you tiger loop > I myself have always been a fan of pre /post burner realys with a oil solinoid valve on the jet line this set up usually helps reduces your pump vacume and over all reduces any flame varations assocated with the pumps producing vacume ,it's a nice set up it also reduces the amount of oil that you are circulating back to your tank unlike a traditional 2 pipe system which will reduce how quickly your filter gets dirty i'll try tp post a pic peace and good luck clammyR.A.
