Missing trick for L8124L bypassing low limit?
We want to bypass the low limit on a L8124L relay so we can add a new indirect with its own pump. If we utilize the ZR & ZC terminals it still gives priority to the domestic coil. If we power the burner off the zone relay from the indirect, the low limit must be used to keep the boiler hot in order to allow the low limit relay to open & complete the circuit to the system circ relay. Anyone got a trick to bypass the low limit's operation without changing the L8124L out? It's Sunday, Dad's in a crawlspace and I'm 2000 miles away. I can't be there to bug him. Darn.0 -
Set
Set the low limit at 130* and be done with it. Oil systems stay much cleaner with some warmth. Don't use the ZC/ZR
