Any trade tips on how to remove a pesky pilot orifice- Honeywell or other brand that be removed for cleaning.
I know that the Johnson unit can be unscrewed.
How do you handle this issue when it comes up or how do you clean the pilot in general. Thanks

If it cannot be removed, you can get the size off it and re-tap it...you can buy orifice drill bit kits that are sized by numbers (40, 41, 42....)

Pilot pump
We use a pilot pump to clear the pilot as part of are PM's.
R.E. Michels sells them or you can do the turkey baster method any thing to clear the orfice. Best Wishes J.Lockard0
