another line-sized circ that's oversized. How much EDR on this system?

I guess,
at installation time the boiler temp gauges were pretty impressive looking, but with no system bypass method, adjusting the boilers ΔΤ was a mute point.
BTW- You oil this circ with a side-shot oil can.

Thanks Frank,
I haven`t deciphered it all yet, but its capacity is 2437 @ 150 and it`ll fall quite short of that. At least there is no asbestos on this one! LOL.

The new system circ
should be sized to the radiation, not the heat loss or boiler size. The system ΔT should then fall right into place. Go here for more:

If the new boiler needs a certain flow rate or return temp protection, a primary-secondary setup will let you do these things while maintaining proper flow rate in the system.
But you know all that ;-)
