I currently have a old slant fin boiler with 2 zones of bb run on zone valves, pump on return. I would like to replace with a new boiler and would like to know If it is possible to put the pump on the feed {pump away] and leave the zone valves on the return will this cause any banging when using taco zone valves when zone shuts off.I would like to know if this would work.

put two new pumps on supplies & scrap the zone valves0 -
Yes , leave zone valves
Again there are many favorite set-ups that we like to install (pumps vs zone valve). Just make sure you pump away from your exp. tank. This would probably be the cheapest way for you.0 -
They feed pipe runs in a sofit 30'that is not accesable.SO i want to leave zone valve so is it alright to put pump on feed and zone valve on return.0
