    Infrared Thermometers with laser pointers

There do you get Infrared Thermometers with laser pointers. I am looking for a source of supply, ... who sells them? I have a lot of steam traps that I want to monitor/check for insert replacement. Am told that the barehand touching a trap dischage pipe is not the best way of judging a good vs bad trap. Traps are typically Barnes & Jones #122 & # 134. Bromley

    Infrared T-meter

Mine is a Yellow jacket made by Ritchie Model #69235. I purchased it at R.E. Michels Co. Any good HVAC supply house should sell them, Field piece makes one as well. Best Wishes J.Lockard

    infra-red thermometer

The thing you need to watch is the 'spot to distance ratio'. If you are taking measurements from 20 - 50 ft. You need one with a good ratio to be accurate. (accuracy = $$)
