the specs for the wall panels are r19 and r30 for the roof panels

    I think you could take those numbers to the bank...

    Depending on what the outside and inside finish is you can add a few points for the extra material plus air films.

    For example you get 0.85 R just for showing up! 0.68 of that is from an inside air film with still air and 0.17 of that is for outside air moving at 15 MPH. Cedar clapboards or shingles of about 1/2 inch thickness will add roughly 0.45 to 0.60 R on top of that.

    But the core net R-values alone are pretty homogenous.

    BTW, I have been browsing this thread; you may want to keep replies together with the orginal as a response so that you can track all of the replies. Just a suggestion. Interesting stuff this.
