The same amount of condensate is returning to the boiler at the same time, as is leaving the boiler. No water level change.

    Looking forward to your seminar on Apr. 11!!! +++ But I need some advice sooner-- Did the "dead men" ever think "green"??

    customer has 1860's house well restored --- therefore the one-pipe steam radiators stay!! but she is really adament about being as "green" as she can.... 20 yr WM oil fired unit needs replacement and conversion to NG is a given...

    Two questions ---- Can we go to condensing boiler???

    is there a practical way to have an indirect domestic water heater here like is becoming second nature with a hot water system --- I don't see how to do the zoning needed --- but that's why I'm sitting at your knee.....

    how much condensate could you expect to be available for an application like this? the way it is shown, the pump is drawing water just below the waterline on the boiler, wouldn't you risk running the pump dry if the boiler wasn't steaming when there was a DHW demand but no heating, say in the summer.
