I am pretty good as far as the hydronic end of heating systems go. I do not know everything but I will find out who does and ask them or read their book. The one weak thing for me is tuning an oil burner and trouble shooting a burner. So if anyone has an online source or a good book I would appreciate it.

Burners
Hi Charlie. Beckett Oil Burner Corp. has an excellent oil burner guide booklet, for starters!0 -

I would sugges all the above plus a copy of an old book "Domestic & Commercial Oil Burners" by Burkhardt. You can find them in the used bookstores.
Some may say outdated but the basics don't change.

the training books are second to none, priced right too.If you get this you will know more about combustion than most.

Thanks for all the input
took me awhile to get back on the wall. I just wanted to say thanks and I ordered the book Mr. Holohan recommended. It is just what I was looking for, I am also going to get some stuff from NORA. Thanks again.0 -
