A few months ago, a truly unfortunate individual dropped his cell phone into the toilet on one of MetroNorth's trains. He tried to reach in and grab it, but his hand got stuck in the toilet flapper, and he could not get it out. This was during rush hour, the train was stopped, and the firemen had to extricate him by removing the toilet and carrying it to the platform, still attatched to his arm, where it was removed. The passengers on the train watched the whole thing, then were put on another train to continue home. You can't make this stuff up.

Nothing too hilarious
Just a jobsite mortality. We were placing insulation and stapling tube on a 4,000 sq ft pour last week, had the phone in my pocket, it rang, I answered and when I was done with the call, must have missed when I tried to jam it back in. That's the last place I had it and I remember thinking how peaceful it was that afternoon just working without the cussed thing ringing constantly. When I got home and unloaded my coat that evening I just figured I left it in the truck or something. It wasn't in the truck..........0 -
