I just wanted to write a short note of congratulation to Frank Lamparelli of Frank Lamparelli Oil & Sons. Frank won the Service Manager of the Year Award. Frank is a great friend and is more than deserving of this honor.

    Meeting people

    You know....
    I have always loved this particular show, just to have the chance to meet the people who touch all the little green things we make with their very own hands. Granted, I hear from many that love our stuff, and those that don't. But what is special about this industry, and particularly this group, is that there is a lot of truth going around. I have come to an age where I realize that communications and relationships that are less than authentic are not really worth having. (May sound a bit philisophic, but it is fundamentally so true, in my opinion.) I find in the general world, people will look you RIGHT IN THE EYE and tell you one thing, and the go about doing or saying something very different. I just move on. Life is short.
    But to the point: I had the chance to meet Frank.

    He's for real. And deserved this award.
    And his recognition of his parents on Tuesday night melted my heart.

    On behalf of all of us at TACO, Frank, congratulations.

    that I loved it when you had the opportunity to brag as you received your award, that you chose instead to talk about the people who work with you. They couldn't be there, but you brought them all along with your words, and clearly, in your heart.
