boiler choice

My sister is building a house in the country. Natural gas is not available. The house will be all radiant (climate panels on top of the subfloor) with an indirect hot water maker. I had built a house a few years ago using the same system using a Buderus 115-34 boiler. She is very impressed with the comfort and efficiency of the system. With the Buderus GB 142 being available, what do you pros think would be the better choice for this system - a GB 142 using propane or a 115 series using oil.

Oil

is usually much less expensive per btu and I would expect a 115 to have a longer service life than a 142

One other

I too would suggest oil. It give's the option of choosing which company you would like to deal with. With propane you have tanks to switch to get rid of a company your not happy with. I would however suggest looking at the new Burnham MPO oil boiler. American made and well thought in design and ease of service...JMHO
