The GC124 is designed for quick boiler replacements. The jacket is smaller because of less insulation, the supply and return connections are on the side, junction box inside of boiler for quick wiring of power supply and circulator. The jacket is not designed for mounting the logamatic or a draft inducer. The standing pilot version is price very competitively and targeted for the simple boiler replacement market. It features the same cast iron and controls of the G124X series boiler.
