Kritzer ceiling coils
To all I would like some input. The home owner is thinkig of upgrading his old boiler. I would like to size the system correctly but I'm not sure on the heating coils. There are two rooms that also have piping in the floor to add more btu's. I know the piping in the floor are hooked up to old three way valves but the rest of the heating is off of 3 other pumps.
Thanks

\"If it's Kritzer, it's right sir!\"
was their old slogan. I know I have some of their info some place, but it might just be some ads in ASHVE Guide books.
If you're going to size the boiler, just do a heat-loss calc. When you get down to it, it's radiant. I would assume the calc programs optimized for radiant would have options for sizing ceiling coils.

Thanks for the input, Just wondering if you knew what kind of btu output those might be, It just so happens I have the original blue print to the house. It is pretty interesting on how they laid everything out.

Kritzer
Made in Batavia,IL we use to use their baseboard. I didn't care for it. Cheap. I don't know what you mean by ceiling coils? They made round unit heaters with the fan in the center that mounted to the ceiling. More of a commercial or industrial item.0 -
