where can I get a value for my 1915 radiators?

Options
make sure they didn't freeze and burst. See if they will hold 30 or so pounds of pressure. Play it safe- stand well away from the rads before pressurizing them.

"Steamhead"

Where is the best place to learn the value of the 3, very large radiators that are in my (formerly heated) 1915 garage?

    And then

go to Hot Tech Topics and scroll to Searching for Old Radiators, where you will find a list of people that buy and sell old radiators. Contact them with photos.

    It depends!

It depends...... if you are buying or selling and how bad you need it or how bad you want to get rid of it.

" New " radiators are over $30 per section, so you could easily pay $300 or more per radiator. I would never pay more than $25 for a used , but that is me. I usually get paid to haul them away.

If some one is restoring a building and "needs" one just like yours it is worth a lot! Many scrap yards sell them per pound for scrap rate. It really depends on your area and if there is a demand. But probably $50.

If you have ornate design and not plain ones they may be worth more. Couldja post a picture?
