Hi,
I was wondering if it would prudent for me to put sheets of Reflectix Insulation, (http://www.reflectixinc.com/), taped to a big piece of cardboard to put behind the radiators? Can I use this as a reflective panel to improve the efficiency of the radiator? I have plaster walls with no insulation yet.
thanks

Don't know if this helps you any, but I actually put this stuff to the studs and then put sheetrock ontop. This is what the insulation contractor said to do and he swears by it.. I think I feel a difference, no I would have to say there is a difference. I think your method is better but unless the rad a covereed mine aren't you would see the foil behind it. If not for anything it stops any draft whatsoever.0 -
tin foil
in this case just use wide rolls of tin foil. you can use spray adhesive to stick the tin foil to the cardboard.0
